As part of our “collaborate by example” roadmap, we asked all of the candidates for Philly’s next mayor to record a 2 minute video introducing themselves to our community.
Many of the candidates responded quickly, speaking directly to the issues of Independent businesses in Philadelphia. Others responded more slowly (or not at all), with more generic talking points.
Some were more casual and personal messages. Others were more scripted and cookie cutter.
In all cases, we had things to react to! We took this as a chance to do research and verify the successes that candidates claimed, as well as offer constructive critique on what we hope to see more of in the future.
